Ohio Senate OKs transportation budget.

The Ohio Senate on Wednesday voted 33-0 in favor of a $7.86 billion transportation budget bill that includes $5.6 billion for highway construction and maintenance projects.

Anti-tobacco forces score victory in Guam

The push to limit kids’ access to tobacco scored a victory in Guam, a South Pacific paradise with the highest adult smoking rate — 29.2 percent — among the United States and its territories.
